Buhari Extends Phase Two Of Eased Lockdown By Four Weeks

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended phase two of eased lockdown by another four weeks with effect from tomorrow Tuesday, June 30 through midnight of Monday, July 27, 2020
National coordinator of the Presidential Task force On COVID-19, Dr Sani Aliyu, announced this whilst speaking to news men at its ongoing daily national press briefing.
This means that the most recent guidelines, like the 10pm-4am curfew and the staggered opening of businesses, markets and other public places, remain in place as the country battles to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
Aliyu also disclosed that the government has approved restriction of movements in high burden local government areas.
The task force had said 18 local government areas account for 60% of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria.
