Final Year Students To Resume By Next Week

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo has announced the resumption date for final year students in the country.

The president said this on Sunday that tertiary institutions will reopen on August 24 for students who have yet to complete the academic year. He added that the government will put in place necessary measures to ensure safety environment

He said, " Universities will be equipped with necessary personal protective equipments and those with their own hospitals and clinics will have isolation centers to deal with positive cases."

The president stressed further during his 15th Covid-19 national address that there will be no mass gathering, sporting activities or religious activities on campus.

" Government through the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service will ensure that all these tertiary institutions are disinfected,". He added
