BokoHaram: Shekau Releases New Video, Vows Not To Free The Abducted Girls
It could be recalled that a total number of 276 girls were abducted on April 2014 from north eastern town of Chibok, Borno State. Even though some of these girls were released, some 223 are still missing.
Meanwhile, the leader of BokoHaram evil group, Abubakar Shekau has on Monday released new video showing footage of about 130 girls in black and grey full length hijabs sitting on scrubland holding their palms upwards in prayer.
Shekau speaks in the video obtained by AFP for 17 minutes in Hausa and Arabic, restates his wicked responsibility and said the Christians among the girls had been converted to Muslims. Shekau added that some Boko Haram members have been in prison for up to five years and the abducted girls would only be released if the fighters are freed.
Nigeria Government has been battling BokoHaram since 2009 attacking schools teaching a Westerm curriculum, churches, mosques, military bases and public places. Thousands have died, internally displaced, homes and businesses razed while the government still on this battle field to conquer terrorism in the country.
