Fact-Check: Trump Ventilators Have Not Arrived In Nigeria

Nigeria's Information Minister, Alhaji Lai Muhammed has said the country is yet to receive ventilators promised by US President Donald Trump in April.
The minister has denied Trump's remarks made last week that he had sent 1,000 ventilators to the West Africa countries.
He added that President Trump made the promise during a telephone call with President Muhammadu Buhari on 28 April,that they are committed to helping Nigeria's response to the corona virus pandemic.
Mohammed further stressed that, if the consignment had arrived, it would be announced and relayed to the public instantly.
