Lagos Discharges 87 COVID-19 Patients

Lagos State has recorded 87 more coronavirus recoveries  from the various isolation centres in the State.

The Lagos State Ministry of Health, in a statement on Wednesday, said among them were 40 females and 47 males, all Nigerians.

It also noted that they had all been discharged to reunite with the society.

The ministry said the new recoveries bring the total number of discharged patients in the state to 825.

"The patients, 26 from Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, 24 from Onikan, 12 from Eti-Osa (LandMark), 11 from Agidingbi, 9 from Gbagada and 5 from Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID19."
 
The Ministry then urged citizens to adhere strictly to public advisories and directives in other to  break the chain of transmission of the infection.
