Oluwo Sets To Distribute Pepper Spray To Female Residents
The incessant rape cases happening intermittently in Nigeria has traversed from bad to worse.
In a measure to tackle the menace, the Oluwo of Iwo land, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi Telu l has declared his readiness to distribute pepper spray to female residents in Iwo town.
The distribution which is scheduled to come up on Monday, 15th of June to serve as self-defence and to foil any rape attempt.
The modalities set for distribution is that all interested females across the three local governments of Iwo, Ola Oluwa and Ayedire will converge at Oluwo's palace on Monday by 10 am while the enlightenment on the usage and how to protect themselves from rapists will be communicated at the venue.
