Transfer Updates: PSG Captain, Thiago Silva To Remain In Europe
PSG sporting director, Leonardo has confirmed during the weekend that both Silva and Edinson Cavani will leave the club at the end of the season.
Fluminense fans are hopeful that Silva, 35, could return to the club where he began his career and played for the first team from 2006 until 2008.
The Brazilian, who joined PSG in the summer of 2012 from AC Milan, said in a statement: "Everybody knows the affection I have for Fluminense, I had a tuberculosis episode and they opened the doors for me."
"I have an eternal gratitude to them for that but right now I have aims in Europe that have to be achieved", he said.
