Ilorin Property Invasion: KWSPHCDA Scribe Sues For Peace

The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Dr. Nusirat Elelu has called on well meanings Kwarans to be law-abiding and maintain peace as self-responsibility in the face of the recent violence that erupted in and around the Ilorin metropolis.

The call was sequel to series of devastating attacks on some public and private businesses in Ilorin by suspected hoodlums who took advantage of the nationwide #EndSARS protests in breaching the peace and threaten the security of the state.

Dr. Elelu in her statement condemned the burgling of Airport Cargo Terminal and Kwara Agro where palliative items donated by Non-governmental organisations and the Federal Government were kept to ease sufferings of vulnerable Kwarans, the Aged and victims of recent rainstorms across the state.

While notably appealing to the security operatives to do everything in fishing out the culprits of the withering pillages of Shoprite, FEMTECH, Coldstone, Fone Mart and other famous commercial ventures in and around Ilorin metropolis, she urged Kwarans to remain peaceful and dissociate selves from every form of misconduct.

The Scribe therefore implored traditional rulers, social and religious leaders, parents and guardians to orientate their wards on the need to contribute to peaceful coexistence and the economic growth of the society at all times.
