Dr. Nusirat Elelu Visits Offa, Assesses Health Facilities
The Executive Secretary, Kwara State Primary Health Care Development Agency (KWSPHCDA), Dr. Nusirat Elelu and DG, Kwara State Hospital Management Bureau visited the local government for assessment at Primary Health Care Olomo wewe in Offa.
Dr. Elelu during the visit paid homage to His Royal Highness the Oloffa of Offa, HRM. Oba. Mufutau Gbadamosi Oloyede, where she received the royal blessings for her giant strides in Primary Health across the state, especially in Offa Local Government Area.
The Monarch affirmed his readiness and unflinching support for the Agency in the discharge of their duties across the state, saying Primary Health is one of the sensitive sectors in the economy of every state and nation.
In her words, Dr. Elelu commended the humble gesture and commitment of the people of Offa to health security and socioeconomic development of the state, noting that the Governor is running an inclusive government where everybody regardless of age, tribe or other parochial considerations enjoys the dividend of democracy.
She later proceeded to the Review Meeting for the second round of the ongoing modified Integrated Medical Outreach Program (mI-MOP) to explore the effectiveness and challenges of the program in Offa local government area.
