Covid-19: FEDPOFFA Accountancy Department Takes Lead Role, Donates Face Masks To The Management.
The Accountancy Department of the Federal Polytechnic Offa has donated face masks to the school management to compliment the already made efforts of the institution to curtail the further spread of Covid-19 in host communities.
The Face Masks were presented to the Rector, Dr. Lateef Olatunji by the Head of Department of Accountancy Mr. Sunday Ikhu-omoregbe.
The HOD who was represented by Mr. Salman A.Y during the presentation said the face masks were produced and donated to the management on behalf of the whole Accountancy Department to support the institution in the fight against Coronavirus.
While receiving the items, the Rector, Dr. Lateef Olatunji acknowledged the HOD and other members of the department for being the first department in the institution to donate preventive materials to the management.
“It is on record that Accountancy Department is the first department in our institution to present face masks to the Management and I am happy that it starts from my department. The Management and entire students of the Polytechnic appreciate the leadership of Accountancy Department for deeming it fit to contribute your own quota to tackle the novel virus. This is highly commendable." He added.
