Money they say is the root of all evil. A suspect narrated what really propelled his wicked mind to kill his brother.

A 20 years old Ibrahim narrated his actions to the Inspector-Gener of Police Intelligence Response Team attached to Operation Puff Adder at Keteri, Kaduna State.

Ibrahim said his father loved his brother ( Kadade) more than him and at the same time entrusted him. He said his father never mind about other children going to school except Ibrahim who finished Primary and Secondary school, other children attentded Quranic school. This could be perceived as first element that caused the hatred.

Ibrahim further said their father sold cows that worth #1.7 million naira through his brother but when his brother came back, he started flaunting the money. He added that he expected their father to share the money between them but their father asked Kadade to keep the money.

Ibrahim who belonged to a gang group that specialized in armed robbery, kidnapping and cattle rustling therefore hired assassins with the help of his gang members to kill Kadade. He admitted that he killed his brother so their father can allow him to control and manage his businesses.

The assassins only found N300,000 on Kadade while N100,000 was given as a share to Ibrahim. The assassins were identified as Kiri Jumare, Auwalu,Nakaduwa and Yellow
