Kaduna Govt. Discharges 35 Almajirai Tested Positive For Covid-19.
It is another good news as Kaduna State Government discharged 35 Almajirai who had earlier been tested positive for Covid-19.
This was disclosed on Official handle of Kaduna state Governor today.
According to the update, " 35 more patients, all of them Almajirai have been discharged having tested negative. "
The Governor added that the state now has 47 active Covid-19 cases after discharging 63 persons and recorded four fatalities.
It could be recalled that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna has vowed to eradicate Almajiri system in the state to ensure proper care and upbringing.
He said, " The Almajiri system has to end because it has not worked for the children, it has not worked for Northern Nigeria and it has not worked for Nigeria. We took a collective decision at the level of Northern Governors Forum to stop the Almajiri system and completely abolish it."
