Covid-19: Patient Delivers Baby Boy In Lagos

The news came around with a smiling mood as one pregnant Covid 19 patient delivered a baby boy at Gbagada isolation centre in Lagos State.
Salientreporters gathered that the baby was delivered through C&S ( caeserian section ) today, Saturday.
Governor of Lagos State Babajide Sanwolu expressed his joy about the development through a press statement and further ensured the commitment of his government to fight Covid 19 in the state.
The Governor stressed that the achievement is a pointer to the working strategies in Lagos state which have also been yielding the desired results. He said the feat is a sign of victory and motivation for the state as Covid-19 team will push ahead in the battle against the coronavirus pandemic.
In his statement, he said, “I bring you great news from our isolation facilities. Today, a pregnant COVID19 positive patient was delivered of a baby boy through the caeserian section at the Gbagada Isolation Centre. Both mother and baby are doing well.
