Fact-Check: Did Buhari Really Appoint New Chief Of Staff ?

Hours ago, the report of President Muhammadu Buhari appointing new Chief of Staff to replace Abba Kyari was all over  the social media. 

This report however could not be traced to official sources in the presidency while it has already been leaked. Efforts were made to reach President Buhari's Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu but he said he was not aware of such development. 

In his text to DailyPost, He wrote: " I have not been briefed."

SalientReporters still await the official release from the presidency to back up the claim of Mr. President's new appointment.
